Saturday 10th August 2019                                                                                               Kilkenny Arts Festival

12:00pm          Pembroke Hotel, Patrick Street. Opening reception - FORM Design made in Carlow.

12:15pm          Butler House, Patrick Street. Opening reception - CONVERSATIONPIECES. 10th anniversary exhibition of the Made in Kilkenny craft group.

1:00pm             Lunch - Hibernian Hotel, Ormonde Street. 2:00pm National Design and Craft Gallery, Castle Yard. Opening reception - CROWDED THRESHOLDS. Group exhibition of established and emerging practitioners with a sense of playfulness and infectious imagination, working across different disciplines.

3:00pm            Butler Gallery, Kilkenny Castle. Opening reception - AMY CUTLER : COLLOQUIES. First Irish Exhibition by the New York based artist, featuring paintings and pencil on paper works.

The exhibition DOUBLE VISION, featuring artists Eamon Colman and Blaise Smith will be open at Dore’s Old Factory, Abbey Street, until 5:30pm.

Train departs Heuston Station 10:15am. Return 19:02pm.

Dublin coach bus service departs Burgh Quay 10am. Return 5:45pm/ 7:45pm.

2:30pm            Visit to the studio of visual artist Kathrine Geoghan. Private studio visit to this artist whose practice is informed by nature and habitat.

Bus Eireann #120 departs Connolly Luas Stop 1:30pm. Studio is 5 minutes walk from the bus stop.

Wednesday 9th October 2019                                                               University of Limerick

12:00pm Guided tour of the National Self Portrait Collection of Ireland located at the University of Limerick. The collection was initiated in 1983 with 15 works and now includes over 500 pieces.

1:00pm Lunch - TBA

2:15pm Bourne Vincent Gallery, UL.

3:00pm Limerick City Gallery of Art, Pery Square. German born, UK based artist, Mariele Neudecker.

Train departs Heuston 9:00am - arrives in Limerick 11:07am

12:00pm             Studio visit including one course lunch to the painter Neil Shawcross, RUA, RHA. If you wish to have liquid refreshment with your lunch please ensure you bring some with you.

2:00pm                Visit to the Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition at the Ulster Museum.

Saturday 7th December 2019                                                                                           Christmas Gallery Trawl

2:30pm            Meet at the Doorway Gallery, South Frederick Street, for the opening of their Christmas exhibition. Join us on our annual gallery trawl to view the group exhibitions of at some of Dublin’s major commercial galleries. Full itinerary to be announced.

4:30pm            The Red Bank. Join us for a post trawl glass of wine.
